Have used WordBook and Merriam Webster. This one receives constant updates. Its by far superior.

Love this App

The design of the disappearing header appears to affect the ability to open Control Center from the bottom of the screen--at least for me it does, YMMV. The app and Dictionarys definitions are very good; I especially like the thesaurus and hyper linking of words. And while I I prefer using the New Oxford English dictionaries, simply browsing the App Store reveals dozens of high cost apps with minor differences. The investment is simply too high to justify abandoning the app if I dont like it, so this is a perfectly suitable alternative.

This app is amazing! Its all I wanted. It has IPA and Normal spelling for words. I love the learners part, I find it very useful. I love the audio option so that you can her the words pronuntiation. Overall, I dont think I could ask more from this app. Its perfect, best $5 ever.

Love this app. Ive always considered myself somewhat of a "wordsmith", so I truly enjoy having this app at my fingertips to look up new words, redefine old ones, and the Word of the Day is fantastic! I am constantly using it.

Been using the free version for a couple of years now and always wanted the full version but all the in app purchases made Me settle for the lite version. When I saw everything for one price I pulled the trigger.

My go to dictionary!

An incredible amount of information at your fingertips. And a UI I find so easy to use! Having knowledge available allows me to feel insouciant, as I know the answer is only a tap away! Highest Recommendation!

Very knowledgeable but I cant see where all the extras are. Maybe I need to do more research.

I highly recommend this app! Ive been using it for years now. So much you can learn from this app, is not just like any other regular dictionary.

I love this app. I use it all time as a nursing student. Knowing how to pronounce things properly is so helpful. Well worth the money spent!
