Needed to know how to pronounce words including heuristic, epistemological, parsimony, & ontological, and look up words like pejorative, affective, supplantive, and generative. THANK YOU Dictionary.com! Love word of the day too! Very grateful!

This is my "go-to" app for everything words. I write in my own journal and have to check spellings, as with email to friends and especially businesses. Autocorrect tries but often subs words that are nowhere close to what youre attempting to write. The thesaurus is invaluable. I use this app with so many others And my daughter uses it at University for everything! Keep updating! The little games and snippets of information are so interesting I really look forward to new ones!

I use this app frequently when reading with my kids, a) to look up words I dont know and b) to model good behavior of consulting a reference. I only have the basic version, but Ive found it so useful that its on my primary page.

I love the app, I use it all the time. It is frustrating though that even after paying for many of the upgrades I am subjected to multiple ads every time I use it.

The app is well designed; all components work in harmony with one another to bring about a very pleasant experience. Contrary to other reviews, I have never had any connection issues (so far), however, I do have a problem with the widget, it is definitely a plus to the app, however, it feels a bit sluggish, and slow when utilizing it to quiz yourself. Also it repeats the same words within a very short period of time (1-3 different words then it repeat), not sure if its a bug or working as intended. The definitions also collide with one another, especially long ones. Overall however, very well designed, once that widget is looked into 4 stars will turn into 5.

I love this app on my iPhone & iPad. It is great to be able to research something asap. Otherwise Id forget to do it until I ran across way too many times.

I use it all the time. A great tool and so easy to use.

This is one of those apps I find myself referring to without realizing it every time I type an email or Facebook post, you know, just to be sure. Cant recommend it enough! In fact, I send a link referencing it to all my friends who misuse "there, theyre and their"!

This app is a must have. Whenever I get a new phone or device this app, along with my banking apps, are completely standard. I use it multiple times a week and Ill never go without it.
