Great App

Learning new words daily. Helps to increase my vocabulary.

Almost perfect

As an English major, a frequent copy-writer and amateur etymologist, I find myself using this app frequently. It rarely lets me down.

WOW.... Love this App‼️

I have wished for an App, just like this one, for quite some time now. The opportunity to improve my vocabulary, has always been high on my list and, is more than satisfied with this application!

Beautiful useful app

I love this app. Keeps me on my toes.

Excellent

Does what it should do and something more

Worth it just for the word of the day

This is a great app. I look stuff up all the time with it . . . but nothing beats getting up in the morning looking at the word of the day. I gauge my expectations of each day by whether I know the word or not. Its very rational, I know.

Could be better

Way too many times the thesaurus has no answers. Sometimes the dictionary as well. The pronunciation should give 2 ways for famous names. One way for today and also. the original way. It has changed its pronunciation in the last 2 years on names. Not cool!

Superb app!

I use this app everyday and love the word of the day notifications!

Excellent

Great app couldnt be without it for my research work.

I use this all the times.

Great

A Complete Word Reference

From simple word searches to in-depth research of the root, synonyms and even usage examples of words, this app is designed for everyone... Even a rapper would find the rhyming words section very useful. Its a complete word reference for casual users and everyone else..!

Definitely an app for the highbrowed set!

Great app for all things that one needs a dictionary for...but word of the day takes it over the top. Definitely for the literati among us.

Christian Science Practitioner

This is one of my most used apps!! I love it!! Perfect! And, the audible pronunciation is much appreciated!! Thank you!

Love it!

The app works great and has had all words Ive needed. The only improvement it needs is to give the definitions of the words on favorites list, not just the words.

Cant

Live without it.

Best Dictionary App Around!

Best there is! Being the expert speller that Im NOT, I use it everyday! Does everything it is expected to do and does it flawlessly!

Essential

This is an app no one should be without!

My Favorite App!

I would venture to say this my most used app on my entire phone. If youre a word-nerd this is the app for you. I have the upgraded app and the features are great. Cheers!

Lovin it!

Loads fast, easy to use, love word of the day

Love my Dictionary-GET IT, you WONT REGRET IT❗️

I LOVE my Dictionary App and Thesaurus. Having the capability to use the microphone with this App was both a blessing and a crucial part of my relearning; and reopening my brain functions, after suffering my big stroke, approximately six years ago. My stroke affected both my mind and body; normally only one occurs, it took me a year to stand upright from my 80 degree bend to the right, and MUCH longer getting aspects of my brain functions working again. I stuttered over EVERY WORD and had so much trouble grasping the words to formulate and say, or ask for simple things, a short sentence. It would take so long to get my words out that everyone tried to finish my sentences, which angered and frustrated me, because they were frequently wrong and Id lose my train of thought. I forgot things said to me minute to minute; improving slowly to 10 minutes, 20 minutes, to currently a day to five days. I wasnt able to write my name. I wrote the first letter and couldnt figure out the next letter, nor could I remember how to connect the letters for a cursive signature, which I have to sign for my medications each month. Learning to spell is nearly impossible when you cant look up the words in a dictionary, because you DONT KNOW HOW TO SPELL THEM! Thats when the ability to use the microphone; after my 12 year old daughter showed me that I have this function, and how to use it, a 100+ aggravating for me times. My KILLER 4 TINY LETTER WORD that totally stumped me, frustrating me to no end and just COULDNT figure out, was "such". Such a simple word, but extremely difficult for a fractured mind that could no longer help her 1st grader with her homework. Ive come back further than most people thought possible, especially since I didnt hear myself stuttering, and I didnt realize I was having any loss of brain functions. I also didnt see the real "me" when I looked in my bathroom mirror. I didnt see the bend of my body, 80 degrees to the right at my waist, nor my stretched neck and tilted slightly downward head. Plus I saw myself as I looked in my mid 30s, and not the real 49 year old at the time of my big stroke. Id always held my youthful look of a minimum 10 years younger than my actual age, until a near fatal catapulting accident, resulting in an 8ft head dive into a cement driveway at age 41. I rapidly aged about 5 years after that accident. It wasnt until my big stroke that I no longer saw the real me in a mirror. I was younger and standing straight; not bent sideways at 80 degrees to the right, my neck showed muscle strain and was stretched to the right, with a slightly tilted looking downward head. I drastically aged beyond my 49 years after my big stroke, but I still currently see myself looking in my mid 30s and no body issues. Ive suffered at least 5+ mini strokes since my big stroke, resulting in my upper body bent 20-30 degrees to the right again, my neck shows the muscle strain and is pulled to the right, but now it is also jutted forward at a 70 degree angle. Its getting harder to rehab my body; I frequently fall due to balance issues from the bend in my body, plus depth and distance perception problems, frequently landing on my head and compressing my spine. Ive progressed from 2 herniated discs in both my neck and lower back, suffered in the 8ft catapulting 8ft dive, to currently 4 herniated discs in both locations. Ive suffered setbacks in my cognitive functions with each mini stroke, but Im also still able to improve to varying degrees, so the capability of the dictionary microphone is still a blessing to have in my continuing journey of brain rehab and reconfiguration. I highly recommend this App to all. It also has a word of the day, which can broaden everyones vocabulary, along with understanding the meaning of what others are saying.
