Dictionary.com is a six star app. Its terrific!

Everyone needs. Dictionary and a complete one at that which includes a thesaurus.

Often what I think a word means is askew. I am grateful for my dictionary, and use it daily :)

The Dictionary.com app is by far my favorite online dictionary- quick, complete, and excellent pronunciation guide as well as thesaurus, audio pronunciation, as well! Use personally and as a Speech Pathologist

Ive really enjoyed all the versions - they make sure its functional regardless of how much they change. I dont ever buy the expansion packs but I bought the complete, super duty expansion for this app because I am a wordy (kind of like foody but with words..). I would only ask for a bigger Latin root section in each definition when available. I LOVE IT!

Recently downloaded, getting to know my way around. Love the Word of the Day. Love the little known facts that are there, too. Happy with this app!

I couldnt ask for anything more in a dictionary/thesaurus app. Im completely satisfied and use it very frequently. To hear the word spoken, is especially helpful. I like it so much, I have purchased all upgrades. I find every single upgrade absolutely invaluable. Having the Greek word origin as well as the Latin word origin really helps me understand words in a way I havent ever understood them before. All the individuals responsible for the development & continual updates of this family of apps deserves an enormous round of applause for a job extremely well done. I have yet to find a glitch or a typo – – and Im a natural born typospotter. They drive me crazy. It is an absolute pleasure to enjoy learning from every single thing I use these apps for. Thank you!

I dislike spellcheck so I use this app in place of a dictionary. Thanks guys for my phone is much lighter than an unabridged dictionary.

The best dictionary application Ive found. Never misses! The audio is great and standardizes pronunciation and settles arguments with local speech habits.
